Amazing No-Bake Easter Treats

When it comes to indulgence, Easter takes the cake (or should we say, the bunny)! And in our book, the greatest treats are those that dazzle the eyes, delight the taste buds, and are a breeze to whip up.

What could be simpler than skipping the baking? Enjoy this selection of no-bake Easter treats that are sure to satisfy your sweet cravings with minimal effort.

 

Easter Bark

Pretty is not normally a word we’d use to describe chocolate, but there really is no other word for this gorgeous no-bake Easter Bark. It almost looks too beautiful to eat…almost.

INGREDIENTS

  • 300g white choc melts, melted
  • Red food colouring
  • Blue food colouring
  • 300g milk choc melts, melted
  • 300g white choc melts, melted
  • Cadbury Mini Eggs, to decorate
  • Cachous, to decorate
  • Pearls, to decorate
  • Purple and blue mini choc buttons, to decorate

METHOD

Step 1
Line a baking tray with baking paper. Place melted white choc melts in a bowl. Tint choc melts purple with red and blue food colouring.

Step 2
Place melted milk choc melts and additional 300g melted white choc melts in separate bowls.

Step 3
Place alternating spoonfuls on prepared tray, allowing all three colours to touch. Working quickly, use a skewer to swirl. Sprinkle with Cadbury Mini Eggs, cachous, pearls and purple and blue mini choc buttons. Allow to set. Break into shards.

Easy No-Bake Bunny Biscuits

Entertain the kids with a delightful afternoon activity by making these adorable no-bake bunny biscuits! Whether it’s for a playdate with friends or simply to embrace the sweetness of the season, these bunny biscuits are the perfect no-bake Easter treat.

INGREDIENTS

  • 250g packet milk arrowroot biscuits
  • 150g CADBURY Baking Milk Chocolate, melted
  • 150g CADBURY Baking White Chocolate, melted
  • 1/3 cup bright strands sprinkles
  • 1/2 x 300g packet Cadbury Clinkers, halved

METHOD

Line 2 baking trays with baking paper. Place biscuits on prepared trays. Spread biscuits with either melted milk or white chocolate. Scatter with sprinkles.
Dip ends of Clinkers halves into matching melted chocolate. Stick 2 Clinkers onto each biscuit to form ears. Refrigerate for 15 minutes or until chocolate is set. Serve.

Hot Cross Bun Grazing Board

Spread joy and smiles this Easter with a delightful no-bake Easter grazing board! It’s the ultimate addition to a cosy kids’ movie night, a joyful family picnic, or a gathering with loved ones over Easter.

INGREDIENTS

To serve
  • Homemade chocolate cups
  • Hot cross buns
  • Darrell Lea Hand Rolled 100s & 1000s Easter Egg
  • Mini Easter eggs
  • Macarons
  • Marshmallows
  • Yoghurt-coating pretzels
  • Wafers
  • Musk sticks
  • Fresh berries
  • Mini apples

METHOD

Place one-third of the melted white chocolate in a bowl. Dip a corner of 1 mini hot cross bun into melted white chocolate to half-coat diagonally, then cover with sprinkles. Transfer to a wire rack set over a baking tray and leave for 30 minutes or until set. Repeat with 4 more mini hot cross buns. Reheat remaining white chocolate and transfer to a serving bowl. Crush two hollow Easter eggs and arrange on top.
Place mascarpone in a small serving bowl and swirl through jam. Place dark chocolate in a small serving bowl and top with 1 tbs sprinkles. Place coconut, nuts and remaining sprinkles in separate serving bowls.
Step 3
Arrange hot cross buns and serving bowls on a large platter. Add strawberries and wrapped and unwrapped Easter eggs to platter, then serve.

Easter Popcorn Rocky Road

Get ready for some serious love from the kids with these incredibly colourful treats! Packed with all their favorite goodies like popcorn, chocolate, eggs, marshmallows, and confetti, they’re sure to be a hit. In fact, the kids might love them so much that they’ll be eager to lend a hand in making them!

INGREDIENTS

  • 250g dark chocolate
  • 2 x 40g pkts Ready to Eat Popcorn
  • 125g pkt Cadbury Mini Easter Eggs
  • 1 cup Pink & White Mallows
  • 12 Cadbury Mini Easter Eggs, extra
  • Rainbow Confetti, to sprinkle

METHOD

Step 1
Line a 12-hole, 11/3-cup (80ml) capacity muffin pan with paper cases.

Step 2
Place the chocolate in a heatproof bowl over a saucepan of simmering water (make sure the bowl doesn’t touch the water). Cook, stirring occasionally, for 5 mins or until chocolate melts and is smooth. Set aside for 5 mins to cool.

Step 3
Combine the popcorn, chocolate eggs and marshmallows in a bowl. Pour over the melted chocolate and stir to combine. Spoon popcorn mixture evenly among the paper cases. Top with extra chocolate eggs and sprinkle with rainbow confetti. Place in the fridge for 2 hours or until set.
